I've learned that when doing a demo of a work-in-progress for a client, using placeholder images of kittens is almost as important as using lorem ipsum placeholder text.

Now, thanks to the wonders of the jQuery javascript library, it's easier than ever before!

The Placekitten jQuery Plugin has been released.

The readme states: Placekitten is a quick and simple service for getting pictures of kittens for use as placeholders in your designs or code.

This highly useful, long-sought-after plugin allows you to dynamically change any or all of your images to placeholder kittens with just a single line of jQuery magic.
